Congress and Legislative Procedure

As a former APSA Congressional Fellow, I teach a course on Congress and Legislative procedure. The class examines Congress: its development, the interests of its members, its organization, relations with other branches and interest groups, and contemporary issues affecting the first branch and topics in which the legislature plays a major role. The course aims to introduce students to the working world of Congress and to the academic study of the U.S. legislature, while including contributions from and discussions regarding Indian, female, POC, and LGBT+ perspectives.
